Our Vision
Portico Coffee is the ground floor of the historic two-story building known as The Koldin House. Originally built in 1913, this house has become an architectural icon of the North Side neighborhood in Fort Worth and is now open to the public as a cozy cafe.

We are more than a coffeehouse; we're here to support the arts in Fort Worth by hosting creative events every month, and by featuring local artists on our walls as a zero-commission gallery space. And we are open to hosting your next creative gathering too - just ask!

Portico is a small business - but we're big on quality and experience.
We are not a drive-thru coffee chain. We don't have an app, we don't do online orders or delivery. We craft our drinks one shot of espresso at a time and search the world for unique flavors and bites that you can't get elsewhere. We do all this to create a unique and cozy in-person experience.

We partner with local roasters Moravion Coffee to bring you single origin beans. Meaning you get to taste specialty grade coffee from reputable farms throughout the world. Each growing region has particular tasting notes that we curate and dial in to serve you a uniquely balanced cup every time.

We are proud to offer classic flavors made right here in our kitchen, as well as rare and unique options from all over the world. So whether you're in the mood for a classic comfort, or you daring to try something new and exotic, each of our flavors are prepared on site and bottled with love.

Fancy a personalized cup of coffee made just for you? We offer pour over options using V60 extraction, allowing you to explore the variety of single origin beans we have. Depending on the seasonal availability, you can choose from Brazil, Columbia, Ethiopia, Kenya, or El Salvador.
Fresh Baked Pastries
How about a snack?
Whether you're looking for cookies, scones, or something savory, we serve baked goods baked right here in our kitchen until they sell out. This menu also changes seasonally so you can always find something new in the pastry case. Subject to availability!
